UX Redesign
March 2015 - December 2015
UX and Interaction Designer
The main goal was to redesign Spotahome’s user experience to enhance trust and highlight the platform’s key differentiators, such as the presence of “runners” (on-site verifiers) and detailed neighborhood insights. This redesign aimed to better support users in their decision-making process when booking a property.
In addition to the core objective, the project also focused on:
- Defining a scalable design strategy for future growth.
- Crafting a tone and language tailored to different user profiles.
- Supporting content communication through a highly visual experience.
Contributions
- Responsive design across multiple breakpoints.
- Implementation of Atomic Design principles and a scalable style guide.
- Internationalization (i18n) support across languages.
- Facilitation of UX Workshops to align with business and user needs.
- In-depth UX Research: competitor analysis, ideation sessions, and user journey mapping.
- Development of prototypes for user testing and stakeholder review.
- Use of SMACSS and BEM methodologies for maintainable CSS architecture.
